TPL Thursdays! - Showcasing ICT Excellence Awards: A School's Vision in Response to its Community

Join colleagues from Belfast Boys' Model School, recently recognised as Highly Commended in the ICT Excellence Awards, as they share how a clear digital vision is transforming teaching, learning and pupil outcomes. Drawing on the school's award-winning digital strategy, this webinar will explore how technology is being used purposefully to raise attainment, enhance engagement and equip young people with the skills needed for an increasingly digital future.

The session will showcase practical examples of digital innovation across the school, including the use of Microsoft Teams and Forms to provide timely feedback, Notebook LM to support independent learning, and digital tools such as Immersive Reader and the Amira Reading Project to strengthen literacy outcomes. Participants will also gain insight into the school's Innovation Lab, where pupils engage with industry-standard technologies to develop creativity, computational thinking, problem-solving and digital storytelling skills.
