Aims and Objectives
This course looks at our core values and approaches when faced with behaviour that challenges us personally and professionally. The focus of this course will be on preventative approaches in order to de-escalate and de-fuse potentially challenging situations. Staff will gain an understanding of the stages of a crisis and will examine a range of appropriate responses to support the pupil in need.
