Reconnecting Relationships: Supporting Pupils with a Statement for Social, Behavioural and Emotional Wellbeing Needs

Aims and Objectives

Aims:

• Understand the needs of children and young people with a Statement of SEN for Social, Behavioural, Emotional and Wellbeing (SBEW)  needs
• Enable Classroom Assistants to use a range of Strategies and resources to promote inclusion of children and young people with a Statement of SEN for Social, Behavioural, Emotional and Wellbeing needs

Learning Outcomes:

• Explore strategies which can be used to reconnect the existing relationships following lockdown and to develop new positive relationships with pupils who have SBEW needs
