C2k SIMS.net Linking Primary Assessment with Interventions & Discover

C2k/EA are offering schools an opportunity to attend training on Linking Primary Assessment with Interventions and Discover.  This training is aimed at teachers who are already familiar using Assessment Manager in SIMS.    

The training will be based around the following areas:

• Planning an Intervention based on underperformance of a group of pupils

• Importing Assessment Results

• Recording post Intervention outcomes

• Running reports to assess impact of Intervention

• Introduction of SIMS Discover

• Comparing Interventions in SIMS Discover

• Creating Assessment graphs to assess outcomes of SIMS Discover

• Linking Interventions to Assessment in SIMS Discover

• Creating Dynamic Groups from SIMS Discover

Training will take place in each of the 4 C2k Centres from 10am to 3pm.  Spaces are limited to one teacher per school.  The closing date for booking is Thursday 13th February @10am.  A confirmation email will be sent to all successful applicants prior to the course date.

Please note that training for new users of Assessment Manager will be available at the beginning of term 3.

As our courses are in huge demand we would appreciate if you could inform us prior to any C2k training courses if you cannot attend.  This will allow us to provide a training opportunity to someone on the course reserve list
