Early Mathematical Experiences for the Pre-school Child - Sorting

This session is only available to settings participating in Getting Ready to Learn 2022-23.

This is the second of 4 sessions which will examine Early Mathematical Experiences for the Pre-school Child.  

During the first session there will be an emphasis on the development of sorting experiences through:-

• exploring the mathematical learning potential of sorting;
• exploring the significance of  'same' and 'different' in early mathematics;
• the development of early mathematical language.

The session will be facilitated by Tina Adair, Education Consultant and will be held on Wednesday the 18th of January at 2:00 - 3:30 pm.
