Re-visiting 'The Personal Learning Plan' & Writing of SMART(E) Expected Outcomes (Post-Primary)

The SEND Implementation and Development Team would like to offer the following optional online sessions on Understanding ‘The Personal Learning Plan’ (PLP) and SMARTE Expected Outcomes.

The online sessions are to facilitate SENCos/LSCs that have indicated they wish to re-visit these two key areas as part of ensuring readiness for the implementation of the Graduated Response Framework.

AIMS:

To raise awareness of effective practice in creating, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the PLP and involving pupils and parents in this process

To consider how prioritise a child/young person’s learning needs in order to write relevant SMARTE expected outcomes.
