NIFSA - Forest School Practitioner Training Days

These sessions are for settings participating in the Getting Ready to Learn programme.

Getting Ready to Learn and NI Forest School Association have developed a programme for GRtL settings which focuses on providing opportunities for practitioners to develop Forest School skills and to provide the tools to help families promote Forest School Families within their settings.  Throughout the year there will be seasonal online sessions facilitated by Forest School staff, a monthly newsletter for families and practical full day sessions in 6 venues across Northern Ireland during the first 2 weeks in October.

The practitioner training will be a one day course offered in 6 venues across Northern Ireland.  The sessions will provide the opportunity for practitioners to work both outdoors to experience practical forest school activiites and indoors to examine theory and practices at the centre of forest schooling.  It is expected that the sessions will last between 10:00 to 1:00 pm.
