Aims and Objectives

To outline the current legislation and related documentation for SEN in the school setting
To clarify the roles and responsibilities of all key stakeholders within the SEN framework
To understand how schools use the three stages of special educational provision within the Code of Practice
To discuss some of the key areas contained within the SENCo role e.g. record keeping, SEN action planning etc and how to plan and manage these in school.

Course Details:

Training will take place over two days and participants must attend both days

9.30am -3.30pm
