While conflicts in the workplace are inevitable, if they are left unresolved, they can quickly impact employee morale and productivity which can create a negative workplace atmosphere. In this interactive session we will look at the differences between positive and negative conflict, the impact conflict has in the workplace and how you as a manager can resolve conflicts effectively. 

Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of this session you will be able to:​

• Recognise the different types and common causes of conflict
• Understand the impact conflicts have in a workplace
• Be familiar with various strategies and techniques used to prevent conflicts from occurring or escalating in the workplace
• Recognise your role/responsibility in conflict situations

Staff who have line management responsibility and/or all staff who have a special interest in this topic.
