Whole School Nurturing Approaches (WSNA) Model of Support

Aim

Provide Primary School Senior Managers with an outline of EA WSNA Model of Support and develop an understanding of the underpinning theory and core principles of Nurture and WSNA.

Learning Objectives

• Develop an understanding of the rationale and evidence base for nurturing approaches;
• To develop an understanding of the Principles of Nurture and the underpinning theory;
• Participate in practical workshops to enhance understanding of Nurture in practice;
• Focus on context and readiness for WSNA;
• Explore the development of a Nurture Action Plan (NAP).

Subject to demand this course can be offered on site for schools or groups of schools on a SDD. If interested please contact the Course Facilitator to make arrangements.
