About this training/event

This training aims to provide professionals, working with pupils with communication difficulties, with the ability to develop functional communication systems that pupils can use within and beyond the school environment.

  • Participants will understand the rationale for the introduction of the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) within their settings
  • Participants will gain knowledge about how to introduce PECS within their settings
  • Participants will be able to develop individualised PECS tailored to the specific needs of pupils within their settings
