The ability to deliver an engaging, effective presentation is a skill many people need for their roles at work.  In this session we will look at; what makes an effective presentation; how to create and structure presentations that will hold peoples’ attention; the importance of building rapport with your audience; the impact of non-verbal communication; and how to deliver an engaging presentation.  We will also look at practical tips and techniques you can use to deal with presentation nerves.

Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

• Identify how presentations can be influential, captivating and engaging.
• Understand how to engage an audience by presenting material effectively.
• Have the tools and techniques needed to deliver presentations.
• Understand the impact of non-verbal communication on your message.
