Special Schools Nursing Project - Engagement Sessions

Special Schools Nursing Project Engagement Sessions 

The Special Schools Nursing Project are now running a series of face-to-face and online engagement sessions across the five Health and Social Care Trust areas. 

The purpose of these sessions is the give the Project Team an opportunity to: 

• Meet with pupils and staff and visit classrooms in the host schools 
• Hear from parents/carers on how they feel their child's healthcare needs are being met in school 
• Hear from staff in each host school and other special schools who are carrying out healthcare tasks with pupils, on the benefits, the challenges and areas for improvement. 

These sessions are for parents/carers of special school pupils with healthcare needs, and staff in special schools that are carrying out healthcare tasks only. They are not open to the general public.
