To provide an overview of characteristic difficulties affecting language development in children with Down Syndrome.
To explore the impact these characteristic difficulties have on communication.
To provide evidence based strategies to implement within a school/early years setting to support language and communication difficulties in children with Down Syndrome.
To provide an overview of signing systems and to explore the benefits of signing with children with Down Syndrome.
