* To enable Designated and Deputy Designated Youth Workers to have an understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.
* To equip Designated and Deputy Designated Youth Workers with the knowledge and skills required to apply relevant child protection legislation, policies and procedures to their day to day practice.
