Training- Understanding Diversity & Inclusion 2pm-4pm

This training is for staff of any grade as either an introduction or a refresher.

Learning Outcomes:

• Understanding of equality and human rights
• Awareness of who is covered under equality and human rights legislation
• Understanding of the different types of discrimination and when they might arise

Outline of session:

• Exploring diversity, what it is and why it is important
• Understanding discrimination, direct and indirect
• EAs legal duties
• Understanding disability including reasonable adjustments
• Group work with practical examples

Thursday 13^th October 2pm- 4pm
