AIMS
To enable DYWs/DDYWs to further their understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues in line with SBNI 4 year strategy and updated DE guidance.
To increase DYWs/DDYWs knowledge and skills in the application of relevant safeguarding and child protection legislation, policies and procedures by drawing on their experiences to date.
Learning Outcomes:
Revisit key aspects of their previous safeguarding and child protection training.
Consider the impact of recent trends and developments in safeguarding and child protection.
Review the areas of Risk Assessment and Digital Safeguarding
Increase awareness on key SBNI themes.
Reflect on children with increased vulnerability
Facilitate ongoing professional development.
Participants will be invited by the Child Protection Support Service Team
