Safeguarding & Child Protection Training – Refresher Training for Designated Youth Workers

​AIMS:

• To enable Designated and Deputy Designated Youth Workers to have an understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.
• To equip Designated and Deputy Designated Youth Workers with the knowledge and skills required to apply relevant child protection legislation, policies and procedures to their day to day practice.

• Revisit key aspects of your previous safeguarding and child protection training.
• Consider recent trends and developments in safeguarding and child protection.
• Use practice examples to reflect on the Designated Youth Worker role.
