C2k Timetable Training and Support 2021

C2k are offering your school a place on our three day training course for new timetablers. The course is designed for school staff who have not previously attended a C2k timetable training course.

Each day will start at 10:00, finish at approximately 15:00 and will be delivered virtually via Collaborate Ultra.

There is one place available per school.

The course content will include:

Day 1

• Transferring and editing the curriculum.

• The Cycle: days & periods.

• Subjects, teachers and rooms.

• Session lengths.

• Staffing classes.

Day 2

• Non-Class codes.

• Preparation for scheduling:

• Partial schedule trials and combing chart.

• Manual scheduling by Band and Block.

• Auto-scheduling.

Day 3

• Bending and breaking scheduling rules.

• Other scheduling techniques.

• Optimising the timetable.

• Rooming: automatic and manual.

• Alternative Curriculum.

• Exporting timetable to SIMS.net.

The closing date for booking is Wednesday 17th February.  A confirmation email will be sent to all successful applicants prior to the course date. 

Please note, when you select the course option in the online booking system you will be booking to attend 3 days as shown below. 

NB: Option 4 (Reserve list) - if all options are fully booked we will endeavour to set up a further training and support course if numbers and resources allow.
