C2k-Timetable Training

C2k are offering your school a place on our three day training course for new timetablers. Due to current resourcing, there is strictly only one place available per school for new timetablers. The course is designed for school staff who have not previously attended a C2k timetable training course. Priority will be given to staff who will be making use of the software to implement a school timetable for August 2022.

Each day will start at 10:00, finish at approximately 15:00 and will be delivered virtually (link will follow upon application).

Day 1

• Transferring and editing the curriculum.  

• The Cycle: days & periods.

• Subjects, teachers and rooms.

• Session lengths.

• Staffing classes.

Day 2

• Non-Class codes.

• Preparation for scheduling.

• Partial schedule trials and combing chart.

• Manual scheduling by Band and Block.

• Auto-scheduling.

Day 3

• Bending and breaking scheduling rules.

• Optimising the timetable.

• Rooming: automatic and manual.

• Alternative Curriculum.

• Exporting timetable to SIMS.net.
