Cluster Group Training Session for Primary and Post-Primary Teachers in Specialist Provisions (LSCs/ASCs):

‘Sensory Processing Issues and Practical Strategies for Pupils in the LSC/ASC’

This training session will be delivered by an Advanced Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist.

Aims and Objectives

To recognise the sensory processing needs of primary & post-primary pupils in LSCs/ASCs.
To develop an understanding of how these sensory needs impact on pupil behaviour and readiness to learn.
To identify a range of practical strategies for supporting pupils in managing their sensory needs in LSCs/ASCs.
