In this session, we turn our focus to what successful teaching looks like within rich, subject-specialist environments across the post-primary phase. Participants will explore approaches that bring challenge, clarity and curiosity to the forefront of classroom practice, including effective explanation, high-quality questioning and responsive teaching that meets learners where they are. This webinar highlights how strong disciplinary knowledge and thoughtful pedagogy work together to promote progression and strengthen learner agency. Teachers will also be supported to reflect on their own practice through the lens of the Empowering Improvement Framework, considering how to design subject-rich learning that is ambitious, adaptive and impactful for all young people.
