New SENCo Induction Training (POST PRIMARY)

Aims and Learning Outcomes:

• To outline the current legislation and related documentation for SEN in the school setting;
• To clarify the roles and responsibilities of all key stakeholders within the SEN framework;
• To understand how schools, use the three stages of special educational provision within the Code of Practice;
• To discuss some of the operational aspects of the SENCo role and how to plan and manage these in school.
