C2k Securus Opt In Training

C2k are offering a half day training course (10am-1.00pm) on Securus in each of the 3 EA localities, between 14th October and 22nd November.

Securus is an e-monitoring application that monitors students/guest users on *C2k Managed devices using key stroke monitoring and application monitoring technologies. * Desktop and portable devices

Issues and concerns detected by Securus include:

• Cyber bulling
• Online Grooming/child abuse/exploitation
• Depression, self harm and suicide
• Racial, homophobic and religious harassment
• Use of drugs or weapons
• Attempts to use a proxy bypass to access restricted sites
• Radicalisation/extremism

Following Securus training

- Securus will be deployed to your school within 10 working days.
