Time: 3.45 - 4.30 p.m.
Presenter: Mrs Nuala O'Hare - Vice Principal, St Joseph's Primary School Lisburn
This session explores what successful teaching looks like in vibrant, knowledge-rich primary classrooms where every learner is supported to grow in confidence and independence. Through examples of effective modelling, purposeful scaffolding, meaningful practice and high-quality feedback, participants will consider how these core elements enable pupils to build strong foundations across learning areas. The webinar will spotlight active and enquiry-led approaches that keep expectations high while fostering curiosity and deep understanding. Throughout, we will connect primary pedagogy to key aspects of the Empowering Improvement Framework - particularly curriculum and assessment - helping teachers reflect on how to design learning that is both ambitious and responsive to the needs of all children.
