The first-time principal induction programme is a bespoke leadership and management programme designed to support all newly appointed, acting and co-principals throughout their first year in post. The yearlong programme comprises 9 in-person leadership modules designed to promote personal reflection and collaborative discussion around key issues facing schools today; these are complemented by a series of online management webinars facilitated by EA staff from multiple directorates.
Key learning themes include Leading Ethos, Leading Learning, Leading Improvement, Leading People, Leading Collaboration; and Finance - LMS and Accounts, Human Resources, Legal Issues, Equality & Diversity, Health and Safety and Emergency Response Planning.
The programme concludes with a Celebration Event!
