Newly-appointed Vice Principals' Support Programme 2026-2027, Day 2 Vision and Values

This professional learning opportunity is suitable for newly-appointed Vice Principals.

A compelling and dynamic vision is central to effective school leadership, serving as the foundation upon which all other strategic and operational decisions are built. This session will explore how a school’s vision and values are authentically embedded in everyday practice.  Through a blend of interactive activities, reflective dialogue and a focused spotlight on practice, participants will engage deeply with the bedrock that drives meaningful school improvement.  The day will be supported by case studies from other schools.

Please have access to your school’s vision and values statements for referral to throughout the day’s activities.

Post Primary Schools - will take place on Tuesday 3 November 2026 in Antrim Board Centre from 9.30am - 2.45pm. 

Primary and Special Schools - will take place on Thursday 5 November 2026 in Antrim Board Centre from 9.30am - 2.45pm.
