Overview is directed at the members of staff in school who will be editing the Pastoral Structure and assigning pupils to Registration Groups, etc. in SIMS .net.

Procedures covered will include:

• Editing Academic Year (check Autumn Term Start Date)

• Changing application status of new Year 8 students

• Adding FSM End Date (new)

• Pastoral Structure

• School Promotion

• Dealing with Leavers

• The School Closures and Planner report (new)

  Please note this does not cover Assigning Students to Academic classes. This will be covered in separate training.
