AIMS:

This course aims to provide participants with:

Introductions and overviews of SENIS Medical Needs Service
An overview of Type 1 Diabetes.
An understanding of the way in which Type 1 Diabetes impacts on a child.
An understanding of the practical considerations to implementing the Individual Healthcare Plan.
Opportunities to explore strategies and resources to support resilience in the child with Type 1 Diabetes within school.
Opportunities to identify and disseminate best practice in meeting the needs of pupils with Type 1 Diabetes within school.
