C2k - SIMS New Exams Officers

Examinations Organiser is the used for the organisation of external examinations.

C2k are offering a virtual session using Collaborate Ultra aimed at examinations officers who are new to the post. The course will cover:

• Setups in Exams Organiser

• Import and refresh of Basedata

• Entering Candidates individually

• Exam entries using Marksheets

• Creation of Submission files (Entry and Amendment)

• Linking exam awards to courses in SIMS

• Further support available to Examinations Officers

This course is similar to C2k training offered to new examinations officers in previous years. Recently appointed examinations officers who have received no formal training would benefit from this basic course.

The overview will take place on the following dates (please note it is only necessary to attend one session):

• Thursday 26^th November 10:00 to 12:30

• Tuesday 1^st December 10:00 to 12:30

• Monday 7^th December 13:00 to 15:30

The Collaborate Ultra session will be open 30 minutes prior to the start time to provide an opportunity to log in and check access.
