C2k - SMS Academic Management

C2k are offering a half day overview of the Academic Management module in SIMS.net. (Allocating pupils to classes).

The overview will be presented in face-to-face sessions, with one session being delivered in three of the C2k Centres (Antrim, Dundonald and Omagh).   This course is aimed at the person in school responsible for assigning students to academic classes – usually the teacher in charge of timetable or a member of the administration staff.  The course is limited to 1 person per school.

The course will explain how to allocate students by:

• Creating academic promotion rules
• Allocating groups of students to classes
• Assigning students individually
• Using the Student Carousel Wizard
• Using the Alternative Curriculum
• Exporting and importing class memberships

This course will take place in the following venues:

Based on demand, C2k may find it necessary to combine the courses – in which case any applicants impacted upon will be informed well in advance of the course.
