BBC Micro:bit: Hands-on Learning for Primary Teachers (plus Micro:bit Playground Survey)

Join us for a two-hour workshop designed to introduce primary teachers to the versatile world of micro:bit. Through a series of hands-on demos and guided activities, teachers will gain familiarity with the micro:bit platform and explore the newly released Playground Survey content (https://tinyurl.com/57m5h9b9).

The ‘Playground Survey’ is a series of seven fun, cross-curricular activities, designed to work flexibly to help teachers get their pupils to engage with their school’s outdoor environments.

Workshop Content:

• Introduction to Micro:bit: Learn about the features and capabilities of the micro:bit microcontroller.
• Demo Projects: Explore a variety of demo projects to understand the practical applications of the micro:bit in the classroom.
• Micro:bit Playground Survey: Showcase of the micro:bit playground survey activities and witness them in action.
• In-school Support Offer: Following the workshop, AmmA will extend an exclusive opportunity for participating teachers to receive in-class support for their students - helping you implement micro:bit into your classrooms.
