First-time Vice-Principal Programme

Aims

To strengthen the strategic and instructional leadership of newly appointed vice-principals, equipping them to lead whole-school improvement, enhance learning and teaching, and contribute effectively to senior leadership within their school context.

The year long programme is facilitated over nine days. The learning is centred around the three domains of leadership practice:

1. Leading Ethos - vision and values
2. Leading Learning - emotionally intelligent leadership and making conversations count
3. Leading Improvement - planning for improvement and leading learning and teaching
