First-Time Principals' Induction Programme 2023/2024 - Registration of Interest

The first-time principal programme is a bespoke teacher professional learning programme designed to support newly appointed principals (permanent or acting) in their first year in post. The induction programme for 2023-24 will consist of a hybrid model of face to face and online modules covering a range of leadership and management issues:

  • Finance and LMS
  • Human Resources
  • Legal Issues
  • SEND Implementation
  • Working with Governors
  • Managing School Complaints
  • Leading ethos
  • Leading and managing change
  • Leading learning with ETI

Once registered, you will also be given full details about the online learning portal where you will be able to access all course materials throughout the year.

Sub-Cover Information

There is no sub cover for this programme. However, teaching principals may claim sub cover to attend a number of professional learning opportunities.
