Nursery School SENCo Induction (2 Day Training)

Aims and Objectives

• To outline the current legislation and related documentation for SEN in the Nursery setting
• To clarify the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders within the new SEN framework
• To understand whole school provision (WEP) and the new three stages of special educational provision (SpEP) within the Code of Practice
• To discuss some of the key operational duties of the Nursery School SENCo and how to plan and manage these in the Nursery school setting

Training will take place over two days and participants must attend both days

9.30am - 3.00pm
