C2k - Recording CEFR Assessment Using SIMS

Dear Principal

C2k, in conjunction with the Intercultural Education Service, have developed functionality in SIMS to record CEFR assessment using Assessment Manager Progress Grids.

We would like to invite up to two members of staff to an online training course using Collaborate Ultra.  The training sessions will take place on:

The course will cover the following areas:

• Newcomer register in SIMS

• Entering CEFR assessment data in progress grid

• Analysing CEFR results/monitoring progress

• CEFR Benchmarking Kit to evidence levels achieved
   

IES will demonstrate the use of Benchmarking kits to provide evidence for CEFR levels achieved.

The closing date for booking is Wednesday 18th November.  A confirmation email will be sent to applicants prior to the course date along with instructions on how to access the sessions. 

Places are limited and will be allocated in order of booking. A reserve list will be available and additional sessions will be organised in January with details sent to those on the list.
