In this hands-on session, you will get up to speed with the basics of Google Workspace (formerly G Suite). We will look at creating and sharing folders and documents. Then we’ll explore a ready-made Google Classroom and you’ll have a chance to create your own with guidance on enrolling students and amending the class settings.

In advance, decide on one Workspace function you’ve found helpful and one area you’d like to develop and be ready to share these in a collaborative activity.

Google Sites for Online Hubs & ePortfolios

Share up-to-date info with collaborative docs and forms embedded in a Google Site for CPD, planning, extra-curricular activities etc. Custom design your own curriculum content layout, showcase pupil projects or have pupils record and evaluate their progress over time in an ePortfolio using Sites. We will also look at integrating Classroom assignments with Sites.

In this hands-on session, you’ll have the opportunity to get your site well on the way to publication.
