The Benefits of Developing a Pre-cursive Handwriting Script in the Foundation Stage.

AIMS:

• To outline the research on cursive handwriting and its benefits.
• To increase the understanding of the difficulties children can have that impact handwriting development.
• To provide advice to assist teachers in identifying these difficulties in the classroom.
• To offer practical strategies to support the introduction of a cursive script in the Foundation Stage.

Course Details

The course consists of two recorded presentations of 47 and 30 minutes which participants can view in their own time.
