Study Skills for Post Primary Pupils Who Experience Literacy Difficulties

AIMS:

• To examine what Study Skills are and to explore the value of teaching them to post-primary pupils with literacy difficulties.
• To highlight a range of practical approaches to teaching Study Skills to post-primary pupils with literacy difficulties.
• To provide signposting to resources and literature which may prove helpful for school staff responsible for incorporating Study Skills into their schools’ educational provision.
