Upon completion of this training it is expected that participants will be skilled in the following areas:

  • Identifying the learning styles of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder
  • Designing the physical organisation of the learning environment for pupils with ASD
  • Developing individualised schedules and work systems
  • Problem solving behaviours using structured TEACCHing principles
  • Developing meaningful visual structure that promotes skill acquisition and understanding with educational activities
  • Implementing an antecedent-based behaviour problem solving to reduce behavioural difficulties.

Course Details:

There are two options to complete this training, the first during March 2022 and the second during June 2022.

Participants are only required to register once.

 All 10 sessions MUST be completed to gain accreditation.

MARCH Training: (21 - 25 March 2022)

21 -24 March:  1.00pm - 3.00pm AND 6.00pm -8.00pm

25 March 2022: 1.00pm – 3.00pm.

JUNE Training: (13 - 17 June 2022)

13 -16 June 2022: 1.00pm -3.00pm AND 6.00pm – 8.00pm 

17 June 2022 - 1.00pm – 3.00pm
