ABSIT Addressing Bullying Type Behaviour in Schools Leadership Training Programme (26-27 Day 2 Sign-up)

Target Audience

Principals, Vice Principals, Pastoral Leads, Safeguarding Leads, and SENCOs/Learning Support Coordinators.

Programme Overview

This comprehensive professional development programme provides school leaders with the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools to implement a whole-school, evidence-informed approach to prevent and address bullying type behaviour, fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful school culture.

Programme Aim

To ensure every pupil in the region attends a school where staff are trained to deliver a supportive and effective Addressing Bullying in Schools policy and practice.

Programme Purpose

To empower school leaders to:

Align with statutory requirements and embed best practice.
Implement a whole-school approach grounded in research and evidence.
Connect legislation, baseline assessment, systems and processes, preventative strategies, effective responses, stakeholder engagement, communication, and policy development.

Programme Structure

The course requires commitment to two full day workshops, a follow up online session and completion of online activities via the SDS platform to support policy and resource development. Please see table below.

Booking Notes (please read carefully):

• When booking, please select your preferred date for Day 1. You will receive an email with a link and security code to enable you to book a place on Day 2. 
• Sign-up is capped to a maximum of two participants per school who have not previously completed the course.
• Noting places are limited to 80 participants per option on for each day we encourage timely booking to secure your preferred dates.
• When capacity has been reached, a waitlist will operate. Participants who do not book both days will be withdrawn from the course.
• Details of how to access the online session will be sent nearer the time.

Independent Learning & Application

Access to online resources materials via the SDS learning platform.
Completion of tasks aligned with reviewing and updating school policy and practice.
Certificate provided on completion of the course.
