Team Teach - Level 2

Training Aim: 

This Professional Learning & Development Programme aims to provide staff from Specialist Provisions with the knowledge, skills and confidence to apply the Team Teach approach, promoting positive behaviour, reducing risk and ensuring safe, consistent responses to distressed behaviours.

Course Structure/Content:

This session has been specifically structured to:       

1. Explore key Team Teach principles, including de-escalation and relationship-based practice.
2. Develop understanding of behaviour as communication.
3. Introduce risk reduction and dynamic risk assessment.
4. Outline legal and organisational responsibilities.
5. Practice positive handling strategies appropriate to individual needs.

9:00am - 4:00pm X 2 Days
