Target Audience:
The target audience for this training course is the Designated PRSD Governor reviewers and Chairpersons of Boards of Governors in Nursery, Primary, Post Primary and Special Schools.
Aims:
The course will give a generic overview of the PRSD scheme and will support governor reviewers who have a responsibility to manage and monitor the PRSD Scheme within their schools.
Course Objectives/ Outcomes:
To understand the PRSD Scheme
To understand the roles and responsibilities of all involved in the Scheme especially the Principal, Governor Reviewers, and the External Adviser
To develop a better understanding of the setting of appropriate PRSD objectives in relation to the School Development Plan
