ECTs registered with the EA for the academic year 2024-2025 will have received an access code to enable them to apply for this event. 

About this event

Aims

  • To build the capacity of ECTs, within the Irish-Medium Education Sector, to support the delivery of high-quality Immersive Education in a Primary setting.

  • To become familiar with a range of resources and materials that can be used to support Immersive Practice.

  • To build a community of learning where participants can share experiences.

Objectives

  • Explore the features of an Immersive Learning Environment.

  • Access a range of Resources to Support Immersive Practice.

  • Understand how to plan for Language and Literacy in IME.

  • Navigate the EA’s Irish-Medium Hub and be familiar with its content.

9.30 am - 3.30 pm

EA Antrim Board Centre

Substitute cover will be provided to your school to facilitate your attendance (excludes Independent Schools).  Monies in relation to sub cover will be issued to schools after course attendance (details taken from signed Registration Sheet).  Schools advised to code to Miscellaneous School Charge/Cost on NISTR.
