AUTISM EARLY YEARS Parents Training

AUDIENCE

Each session is specifically designed for PARENTS of PRE-SCHOOL children.

COURSE DETAILS

Maximum 20 places available per date. 

Bookings can only be accepted from parents and carers who have not yet participated in previous sessions.

Currently there are no plans to provide any alternative dates or times.  Sessions will not be recorded and therefore the content cannot be provided to anyone who is unable to attend.  If your session is fully booked you can book a waiting list place on the next page and if there are cancellations you will be notified.

The training course will be online via TEAMS – the link will be issued by the Training Co-ordinator in advance

SESSION 1 - Overview of Autism and the use of Visual Strategies

• To develop a knowledge and understanding of Autism

• To demonstrate the use of visual strategies in supporting children with Autism

SESSION 2 - Supporting Sensory Needs at Home

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

• To develop strategies for supporting the sensory needs of children with Autism

SESSION 3 -The Development of Play Skills in Children with Autism
