Day One

  • To increase awareness of the ways in which children and young people grieve
  • To explore effective strategies which support children and young people through bereavement
  • To provide a Bereavement Policy Framework

Day Two 

  • To provide guidance on developing a Critical Incident Management Policy and Plan
  • To raise awareness of the many complex issues accompanying a critical incident
  • To inform schools of the supportive role of the Education Authority Critical Incident Response Team

 

Course Details:

This course is a two day course and attendance on both days is compulsory.

13 & 14 March 2024

15 & 16 May 2024

Time: 9.30am  - 1.00pm
