Aims:
This Professional Learning & Development Programme aims to provide staff from Specialist Provisions with strategies and resources to support Autistic pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties within the classroom setting.
Structure/Content:
This session has been specifically structured to support the following:
1. To explore sensory integration of Autisic Pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties
2. To look at behaviours of concern in Autisic Pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties
3. To provide an overview of executive function of Autisic Pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties
4. To highlight the challenges of anxiety in Autisic Pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties
