First-Time Principals' Induction Programme 2020/2021 - Day 2

This webinar is Day 2 (Directed Time Budgets) of the First-time Principals' Induction Programme.

The TNC issued Guidance and Support materials on developing Directed Time budgets on 28^th August.  The resource can be accessed by clicking on this link.  Each teacher is entitled to a Directed Time budget and it is the professional duty of principals to ensure a Directed Time budget is prepared for, and gives due regard to, the individual responsibilities of each teacher in their school.  This must be completed by 31^st October 2020.  This tutorial, which is specifically designed for newly appointed principals, will include an opportunity to discuss how a school principal can develop a Directed Time budget through a worked example, along with the opportunity to ask questions to clarify the different components of directed time.
