Objectives

To understand the process of educational transition and additional practices to optimise successful transition
To reflect on issues and challenges around the transition of children with SEN and how it affects children, their families and educational professionals
To consider how to prepare children with SEN for transition into a new setting
To share current good practice regarding transition
To introduce participants to our transition resource book - ‘Transition – supporting the child with special educational needs in the Early Years’ – A copy of the resource will be given to each setting who attends.
