Access Arrangements for Post Primary Pupils with Literacy Difficulties

AIMS:

1. To examine what access arrangements are and the principles behind their existence.

2. To discuss the structures which regulate the administration of access arrangements.

3. To highlight a range of access arrangements which may be appropriate for some post primary pupils with literacy difficulties.

4. To provide signposting to resources and literature in relation to access arrangements which may prove helpful for school staff.
